Subject: crash on loading ctags database after generation of it
From: alan at chandlerfamily.org.uk
Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 beta1)
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010319 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.6-pre8
OS/Compiler notes:
I had just used the generate project file wizard to generate a project file based on kdenetwork.
On first load of this file it asked if I should create ctags database to which I agreed.
It seemed to create the database but then almost immediately crash. I think that the database is there because
a) there is a 2mb tag file in the directory
b) I restarted kdevelop after the crash and it appears to have successfully loaded kdenetwork as a project.
