KDEVELOP_1_4 compile errors and gideon python 1.6

Hi,

I am curious to know where you found python1.6. 
./configure stops because I don;t have it.
as far as I know, there is NO 1.6. I saw 1.5.2.xxxx and a jump to 2.0
( www.rpmfind.com )
This is very strange...


KDEVELOP_1_4: ( annoncvs at kde.org ) , 2001-04-16
in CKappwizard::generateEntries(.....)
this method is messed up: It is full of undefined symbols and objects,
stuff like KDELIBSDOC, kde2dir etc... Stuf that are defined in other files.
I did not go too deep and tried to include additional stuff because I don;t 
want to mess ip up myself too.

Any hints ?
