Bug Description ---------------------------

Usually the scrollbars appear and disappear as needed. This works fine
as long as I have chosen the external debugger. However when I use 
the internal debugger, the vertical scrollbars disappear so I can't
navigate through the tree. The horizontal bars keep working as usual. 

How to repeat the error -------------------



Bugfix or Workaround ----------------------

John added keyboard support for the VAR tree, so I can give it the focus
and navigate via keyboard. Nevertheless I think it should be fixed
to have the same behaviour in all views.
