RFC: Mirroring of daily snapshot

Hi,

yesterday I made a script which would automatic generate a daily
snapshot (state of 4.15am CE(S)T) from cvsup.
A new snapshot only will be made if there are changings.
The tar.gz-package will be installed on the ftp area.
The last 3 recent versions will be on the mirror 
ftp.e-technik.fh-muenchen.de.

Do you want me to install this script in the crontab of the
mirror-server?
Is there any reason not to do so?
Suggetions/objections are welcome...
