Korganizer, Kontact not saving events & freezing

Hello, and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Using Fedora 37, Korganizer stopped "recording" new events and essentially
froze (approximately 4-5 days ago), though reminders continued to display
on a timely basis.

Hoping that upgrading to Fedora 38 would address the issue ... it didn't.
Opening Kontact resulted in a similar situation.

Looking for suggestions on troubleshooting the problem - anyone else had
this or a similar problem happen ?
