A few years ago, I was suffering greatly with duplicated and damaged emails in
KMail-2, so I tried switching from MariaDB to Postgres. It didn't help me at
all, so I switched back after a decent interval.

In the end, I was forced to relegate damaged batches of mails to backing store
and start afresh, importing only those folders that had no damage. Since then
I've had no problems with KMail. The only other PIM app I use is Korganiser,
and that as just a display device, my schedule being primarily on my phone.

I have both IMAP and POP incoming accounts (one of each), with about 4000
emails. I'm very happy with KMail; it's easily the best MUA I've tried.

That goes for me too. Well done, devs!
