Identity lost Sent-mail connection

Just noticed some sent emails were no longer being copied into Sent-mail.

Discovered some Identities (used to append different signatures) had 
lost their connection to Sent-mail.
  Then OK after re-mailing that connection in Identity/Modify/Advanced.
  
No idea how their settings came to be zapped.
