Akonadi performance issues

Hello.

Since for me it is not "Goodbye KMail" I decided move this into a new thread.

Here is a selection of mine mine:

[Akonadi] [Bug 364114] New: moving a folder within one maildir resource is
extremely slow and inefficient

[Akonadi] [Bug 367892] New: During folder synchronisation Akonadi blocks out
other operations like deleting or viewing mails

[Akonadi] [Bug 334216] New: synchronizes folder with filesystem after
downloading and filtering mails needlessly

For reference, this is the Maildir filename sorting issue I fixed quite some
time ago:

Bug 334218 - synchronizations of large folders with filesystem contents hogs a
Sandybridge core for minutes

It was a nice improvement back then. But I needed a lot of support to make
this one in the end quite simple change.

Since then and further improvements by Dan, Sergio, Milan and with InnoDB
buffer pool size even large 50000+ mail maildir folders are synchronized in
less than a minute. IMHO thats still a lot of repeated work thats unnecessary.

Thanks,
