custom greeter screen background and message list font

Hello,

As can probably be seen from the headers I'm keeping check of KDE PIM evolution (via a VM running KaOS).

There are 2 things that one can hardly overlook:

- the greeter screen background has gone from a blueish-but-subdued-to-be-acceptable design to a psychedelic harlequin design that *really* puts me off because it tends to show much more often and longer than one would hope. A quick tour of the settings pages didn't show any way to customise that greeter screen, is there?

- the message list used to provide customisation options for unread, important and action item messages, which I use to make certain those messages stand out (colours for important and action items, bold for unread). The categories are still there in the font combobox but selecting them disables all relevant widgets, and the font shown in the font chooser isn't even the correct one. Am I overlooking something here and if not, is this scheduled to be fixed soon?

A side-note: I wrote and I think submitted a patch for kmail 4.1x that added a "Select None" option when opening a message folder. It would be nice to see that feature incorporated (preferably with a ditto feature after deleting a message, which I never managed to implement). I can provide my existing patch to anyone interested at giving it a go!.

R.
