Fixed now [0] :-) The "New" actions in KMail/Kontact are a bit more 
complicated than regular actions due to how Kontact handles "New" from the 
different sub-applications vs. when you are running the application 
standalone. In this case it boiled down to a porting mistake when porting away 
from kde4libssupport.
