Agreed. I rarely find that necessary myself, but it's evident that there's "a class of users" :) that/who can benefit a lot from such tutorials.

Heh, what would be even niftier is when documentation writers could simply script the applications, to let them show the process themselves. Live screenshots, always with the latest version and independent of themes, fonts, etc. chosen by the users.
And all of a sudden there'd be a whole influx of C++ gurus who show interest in the documentation of their work ;)
