thanks for the reply! For others who attempt this see my English
version below:
start your kaddressbook -> Settings -> configure KAddressbook
Then select on the left column LDAP Server Settings -> add computer ->
then configure your data and don't forget to select your new connection.
That is how it looks on my English Kubuntu 14.04 with KDE 4.13.2
In Composer you then can use Select to query the server though it will
not (at least for me) work as a local addressbook
This is all but intuitive if you ask me and I hope it will be changed
so that LDAP becomes an option when you create a new addressbook, just
as CalDav, Google etc
