Thank you for your prompt response.

I had actually already consulted all of the URLs that you provided and, 
unless I am blind, there is nothing in any of them that addresses the 
issues that I have related.

Surely exporting (and subsequently importing) address books can't be 
this problematic!

Look forward to additional help in due course.
