Nothing, just the wiki did not cover completely this case. Let me explain
the problem: when you first start KMail, it will create the needed folders
for inbox, trash, outbox, etc. Without those it cannot work. This is the
"Local Folders" account, apparently it cannot be removed to not shoot
yourself in the feet by making KMail not workable.
Then you added your own maildir, that is "mail".
There is a somewhat more technical solution to move the special folders
(inbox, outbox, trash, draft, etc) into your new account and then you can
remove the other one, but there is also a more user friendly one: remove
your account then go to the Local Folders account, select Modify and point
it to the folder where your mails are. It should import them under Local
Folders.
