[kdepim-users] Downloading emails a second time in Kmail

I'm sorry to hear it, you have probably run into a bug that loses mails in 
certain cases when they are copied. That bugs is fixed in the latest 
version.

There is no such thing in the current KMail.

Well, it depends on the type of mail account. If POP3, you might download 
all mails by creating a new account. With IMAP if the mails are still on the 
server, a sync should download them. Also here it might make sense to create 
a new account inside KMail and check from there.
