[kdepim-users] Excessive CPU use from virtuoso-t

Over the weekend I upgraded to

Kubuntu 12.04 upgraded
Qt: 4.8.2
KDE Development Platform: 4.9.3
Kontact: 4.9.3

I haven't really had the opportunity to evaluate things but the "conflict
resolution" messages may well be gone. But one problem I've had since the
prior release is still there - when I enable "Nepomuk Semantic Desktop" the
virtuoso-t process starts chewing CPU starting at 1 core of 6 (so 16%) and
eventually climbing to 3 of 6. Kmail has trouble fetching mail, the headers
come though OK but the bodies are delayed. Sometimes it seems to take a
couple of requests to fetch the body of an email (a 'reply' or 'forward' seems
to help).

I left it running for 9 cpu days with no improvement before trying something
else - I turned off the Nepomuk File Indexer but left . On logging out and
back in a very curious thing happened - the nepomukservicestub started
consuming 4 or 6 cores and the virtuoso-t process had only one. I was unable
to start kontact or even akonadiconsole. Since I couldn't access email at all
I shut it off completely and rebooted.

It sure looks like a deadlock issue, or perhaps something in my configuration
or setup that's hanging things. I can live without the file indexing but it
would be nice to have my email indexed but right now I don't have the time to
wait for email.
