Another place to look at is the openSUSE Build Service (OBS).
  https://build.opensuse.org/search
search for kdepim4; in the long list of results you'll find packages for 
openSUSE 12.1

The OBS is able to build packages for many distributions, but somebody 
needs to setup the builds...
