Hmm. No idea. KMail 1 (and most likely also KMail 2) uses the standard 
SSL-functionality provided by KDE's KIO framework. I don't know whether 
the ciphers to use are configurable, but I guess they are not (because 
the SSL configuration in KDE's system settings is currently very 
limited).
