[kdepim-users] contact actions

Hello,
I see in the kontact configuration, under contacts module, "Contacts Actions".
there is a setting to use Skype to "Dial Phone Number" but I cant see anywhere 
a way to use this.
how/where is it used?

Is there a way to connect between Kontact and kopete to call or send instant 
messages to contacts, or see their online status (I think it was possible long 
time ago)?
