[kdepim-users] KMail2 import, help needed

Hi all :)

I'm trying to migrate from KMail to KMail2. "Automagic" migration
didn't work (for me) so I'm trying to import my previous e-mails into
KMail2.

Basically I've:
1.- created a new user (since with my usual account was impossible)
2.- changed ~/.config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc to use SQLITE
3.- started KMail2 and hit File -> Import Messages
4.- Choose "Import KMail maildirs and Folder Structure"
5.- Took heed of the note: "Note: Never select your current local
KMail maildir (usually ~/Mail or ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail ): in
this case, KMailCVT may become stuck in a continuous loop." So I'm
importing one e-mail folder at a time ...

OK, so KMail2 says it has imported the e-mail maildir directory ... I
go over to ~/.local/share/ ... but it's empty :O I see KMail2 has
created a directory called "KMail-Import" under
~/.local/share/.local-mail.directory/ ... which is empty:

[rafa at myhost share]$ pwd
/home/rafa/.local/share

[rafa at myhost share]$ du -sh * \.??*
540M akonadi
4.0K applications
0 local-mail
0 notes
4.0K Trash
0 .local-mail.directory

But if I open KMail2 ... it shows me the e-mails.

Does anybody know where the imported e-mails get stored?

I've logged on and off, deleted /tmp/* and /var/tmp/*, ...

I'm running ArchLinux, KDE SC 4.6.5, KMail2 (kdepim-kmail 4.6.1-1),
akonadi 1.5.3-2, sqlite3 3.7.7.1-1, mysql 5.5.14-1.

More info:
1.- I've also tried using MySQL backend with Akonadi ... both
cores go to 100%, RAM gets completely used up, system slows down to a
crawl
2.- applied all ArchLinux updates (not using testing nor anything
like that)
     3.- system is an AMD64 (dual-core), 8 GB RAM, 2 SATA drives
4.- ArchLinux packages are AMD64 bit
     5.- the amount of e-mails I have are 80000+ (a bit more than 80
thousand, which add up to 4.1 GBytes)
6.- I've also tried to import mbox e-mail files and I can't find
them under ~/.local/share/

TIA

   Rafa
