Well, for what it's worth. My SuSE 11.4 installation was clean, NOT an
upgrade, and done from a purchased SuSE DVD.
I would assume that means my home directory was not re-used (except as
it applies to KMail for migrating my kmail and kabc folders from a SuSE
11.1 (KDE3.5) backup).
