[kdepim-users] kmail slow on sending emails

Hi!

using OpenSuse 11.2 - KDE 4.4.3 and now 4.4.4 - IMAP account

Sometimes it seems kmail is waiting for something after click on send. Some 
10-20 seconds nothing happens (not much CPU nor disk activity). then it sends 
without problems.

and sometimes sent mails are not transferred to the IMAP sentmail folder and 
stay in the local sent mail folder.

this happens both on a local 1GB network as well as over T1 cable connections.

BTW I have a similar problem saving Openoffice documents it takes some long 
seconds until the content of a directory is displayed, again not much a 
activity.
