Hi Ingo,

actually saved the whole KDE folder, but I did not transfer the akonadi
settings. Well, I do have a copy of the entire home directory, but by now I set
up Kmail manually again. Most of all, I wanted to backup toolbar and shortcut
customization, as well as fonts, color, etc. On the other hand, it took me less
than 10 minutes to get Kmail to look and feel like the one I had before. I will
have another try at copying the config files for the address book.

The reason why I could not restore the settings for Akregator could be that
although the program had been installed, I hadn't run once before, so there was
no ~/kde/share/apps/akregator.rc to be replaced. So I just moved the old file,
and apparently Akregator does overwrite it when running for the first time, as I
have only one such file in my new home directory.

Thanks for your help,

Pascal
