[kdepim-users] Are akonadi distribution lists broken?

Neal, as I have explained many times over the past week, Distribution Lists
are to be replaced by Groups. The migration tool for this was not completed
in time for 4.4 release. The information is not lost - as you can see if you
examine the vcf for your distlist, but you can't use the list in its present
form. You can create a group, then type the first few letters of a name you
want to add and you'll be offered a completion list. Even then, only the
simplest functionality is available at the moment. Opening the record for the
group displays all its members and you can copy and paste then into a mail.
It's not ideal, but it's a work-around until we get the next stage.
