I have similar problem. Furthermore, when I click on the calendar icon in
Kontakt, the latter crashes without any log.
After each restart I got errors in the Akonadi tester:
1. Error in mysql:
100217 9:40:58 [Note] Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled.
100217 9:40:59 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 16908705
100217 9:40:59 [Warning] Can't open and lock time zone table: Table
'mysql.time_zone_leap_second' doesn't exist trying to live without them
100217 9:40:59 [ERROR] Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table
'mysql.servers' doesn't exist
100217 9:40:59 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.db
100217 9:40:59 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.user
100217 9:40:59 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.event
100217 9:40:59 [ERROR] Event Scheduler: An error occurred when initializing
system tables.
100217 9:40:59 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi: ready for connections.
Version: '5.1.37-1ubuntu5-log' socket:
'/home/gkourtev/.local/share/akonadi/db_misc/mysql.socket' port: 0 (Ubuntu)
2. Nepomuk service is not registred in D-Bus (this does not mean anything for
an average user like me).
