Reflecting on this - here is an idea / question.
As we've all heard, HTML can be a vector for all kinds of malicious stuff - so how about KMail having a module that isolates, highlights and /or removes the most common of these when replying / forwarding?
(Or even a plug-in / API so something else can do it - along the lines of spamassassin)
First question - is this possible?
Second question - does anything else do it?
Third question - what are the most common threats seen in HTML mail, including phising and are there any statistics?
And we all know the answer to the third question without googling don't we?
(Sorry about that - can't help myself on this topic.)
Sarcasm aside - could KMail (or anything) be configured to deal with malicious code in a HTML in this way?
Would this feature differentiate KMail from the other email clients?
Regards,
