[kdepim-users] Kontact hanging KDE 4.4

I'm running Kubuntu 9.10 and today decided to do the upgrade from KDE 4.3.2 to
4.4. Now I'm having problems with Kontact constantly hanging, I've gone
through all the tips on Akonadi I could find to sort it, but nothing is
working so far.

If I start Kontact from Konsole, I get this:
Connecting to deprecated signal
QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)

I'm having to type this in stand alone KMail.
