I also use F11, and don't have any of these problems, so I don't think it is a 
bug.  It's unlikely to be related to the video driver either.  The answer to 
the calendar is to simply copy your old std.ics file from 
~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer.  No need to use import at all.

My life would fall apart without korganizer, so I'm a dab hand at keeping it 
going :-)
