This was on the server. I followed Martin's advice and tried to set it up
using my own login. The folders were created under anne-dimap, as I had
requested.

I don't understand this. Earlier I had folders created and managed to import
my calendar. I couldn't get the client working with it, but it worked to
that point. Nothing has changed on the server, other than my efforts to work
with this.
I wonder what ownership and permissions are supposed to be on those folders.
Do you know?
