[kdepim-users] kmail process fails to find sieve server

replying to myself i found in archives from march a reference to the kde sieve
kio slave not working with cyrus prior to 2.3.11, so finding it easier to
compile cyrus on the server than kmail on this box i compile and upgraded
cyrus on the mandriva 2007.1 box to 2.3.11 and indeed now the manage sieve
dialogue connects and lists my sieve script, but only show the first few
lines, it's not kmail as using sieve://server and downloading the script
shows that only the first few lines make it in the transfer, so despite what
Ingo says in:
http://lists.kde.org/?l=kdepim-users&m=120483836900484&w=2
it seems upping to cyrus 2.3.11 is not sufficient, at least, not for me :)

is the sieve kioslave a part of kde-pim and can it be compiled separately
without having to compile huge parts of kde?
