[kdepim-users] Puzzling listing of kmail directory

I guess you are missing the "hidden" files and directories. Their name 
starts with a dot and you need to use 'ls -a' to see them. In 
particular, you are missing the directories
  .set3.directory
etc.

In Konqueror you can enable listing of "hidden" files in the View menu.
