There was  a bug opened on openSUSE 11.0 where html was being added to emails. 
I had the problem, all my emails and sent mail did not show it but the mails 
was being bounced from one of my mails lists because of the html code.

I thought I added commits to this but I don't see them, I know the problems 
went away when I upgrade from kde 3.5.9 to kde 4.1.3.
