[kdepim-users] 2 sync'd Treo hardware that works

Kubuntu Hardy Heron
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.9
KPilot: 4.9.3-359 (palo alto)

Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP

Hardware: Sprint Treo 700P
Syncs but sometimes has issues. Crashes sometimes. Generally works well as 
long as you come up as ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1 everytime. Sometimes after a crash 
you may not. Seemed to help sometimes if sync was problematic to hit 
the "reset device connection" button.

Hardware: Sprint Treo 755P
Has crashed everytime i first attempted sync after doing a hard reset. Phone 
is VERY unstable to be honest, Might be the phone's fault. Phone crashed 
first time just trying to get it authenticated on the sprint network before 
any 3rd party apps or attempts at syncing. Have had more success with first 
sync when i turn off all conduits on both sides and get addressbook over 
first. Has also taken over 15 times to get the first good sync of the 
addressbook, just under 400 entries.

I do thank you for all of your work on this software. I am praying once a 
linux phone comes out that we will have painless syncing back to kontact. 
Palm Treo's are nice but i have had ENDLESS problems with them too. I do 
appreciate everything you have done. pathetic you get no assistance or 
support from Palm since this is their device and our money.
