I'm not sure that allowing for font customization makes much sense. The notepad
isn't really meant to be used as text editor. As text editor it lacks all the
features people expect from a text editor, e.g. search & replace to name just
one feature I'd expect in any text editor.

When having a quick look I also noticed that it doesn't honor the system
monospace font setting as set in System Settings > Fonts. At least, this should
be fixed. And maybe we should add support for changing the font
size/magnification with Ctrl+Mouse Wheel and maybe also with Ctrl+Plus/Minus.
