Yes, I have a scaling factor set (150%), however the font still remains a
little bit small.

Since this is a text editor intended to be used for drafting and creation of
messages and cyphertext, would it not be wise to allow for font customisation,
as is common in any other editor?

Additionally during my testing, I noticed that the notepad editor font did not
follow the system monospace font setting as set in System Settings > Fonts
