SUMMARY
At seemingly random times, tens upon tens of popups stating "error while trying
to delete calendar item" appear. This seems to be connected with events
changing in a linked Google calendar, but this change does not trigger the bug
every time it happens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. ?

OBSERVED RESULT
Tens of popups appear.

EXPECTED RESULT
A single popup, if truly necessary, appears and informs the user of what is
happening beyond a very generic error message that makes it impossible to
understand what's wrong.
