If I view an article in the sidebar and the article contains links, clicking on
the links (either left- or middle-click) does not open the link. In 'Settings >
Configure Akregator > Browser', I have configured both left- and middle-click
to open in external browser.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. View any article in the sidebar.
2. Left-click or middle-click on a link in the article (this should not be the
link to the full version of the article or the link to the homepage; see
attached screenshot for description of which links do and do not work).

I am using the package from the kde-unstable repo . In this package, the
commit  is applied on top of the released source. The 'planet KDE' RSS feed
 has many articles with links, which may be useful to reproduce this bug.
If I right-click on the links, I can see the 'open in tab' and open in external
browser' options, and those work as expected. If I view articles in the
internal browser (by opening in a tab), I can left- or middle-click on links in
