The same here. And it's not only KAddressbook. All other applications like
Akregator, KMail, KOrganizer do not show menus anymore when used in Kontact.
Started separately they have menus.

This happened after update to Plasma 5.9. When I tried out Global Menus and
switched to "Title Bar Button" menus disappeared but no button ever appeared in
title bar. But it even came worse, the menus did not reappear in Kontact after
switching back to the original setting.

I'm using Chakra Linux with Plasma 5.9.2, Applications 16.12.2 and Framworks  
5.31.0.
