Found in all email folders that are regularly used that read messages where
still in the new subdirectory. Since 24 hours I have removed these messages
manualy (Midnight Commander) from new to cur and did not have any crash of
kmail. Will report in a week :) if this is this is a temporary solution. The
problem of too many duplicates receiving does not seem to be of importance for
crashing. Just a nuisance.
