I experience the same error which results in a burning CPU for (a) minute(s),
increased data usage, inresponsive KMail (as the full mail boxes have to be
retrieved).

Affected IMAP folders:
 - GMail "All Mail" (possible changes: removed message (to Trash), read/unread
state, Archive (move to All Mail))
 - Dovecot mail server: 12k mailing list archive, 7k mailing list archive.
Read/unread status, possibly KMail auto-archiving messages older than X days.

Any workaround/fix for this productivity killer? I have been holding back
akonadi/kdepim updates on Arch Linux since September, but recently boost
updated and I couldn't keep the old combination working anymore.
