            Bug ID: 295379
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Setup email automatically, aka more user friendly
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: hankensonjeremy at gmail.com
          Hardware: Archlinux Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: config dialog
           Product: kmail2

When setting up email for the first time in KMail it askes you your name and
email and then goes to create a mail folder that does absolutly nothing that
I've noticed. I then proceeded to look up my gmail imap settings. To most
people this may seem like a daunting task just to get email to work.

I like thunderbird in the way it just works by going out and finding your email
provider settings. It just works. I love integrated apps and I will still use
KMail but just a suggested to help the usability and friendliness of KDE.

Thanks.
