You have to install /shared-mime-info-0.90-1pclos2012.i586.rpm
Use google to search for a download of it
There is a bug report covering the same thing on the PClinuxOS forum and
instructions are given there for using a consol and command line to uninstall
the shared mime you have now and install the 0.9
Do note that this stops the crash but you will still not have access to the
address book. I am disgusted KDE team do not seem to give a damn about getting
Kmail to work properly.
