I am having the same problem.  Also with PCLinuxOS.  I see that I have
shared-mime-info 1.0-pclos2012 installed.  Is the fix here to install an
earlier version?  Who owns this file?  shouldn't the fix be to update the file
to correct the problem?  

OK, where do I go to get a copy of the earlier version?  Should I be submitting
this on a PCLinuxOS dub report?
