Yes, it's a vcard file based addressbook. The "personal contacts" addressbook
contains some special contacts with birthday that I want in my calendar. This
feature is missing with personal contacts but working with vcards.
On my work today I tried something similar. I wanted to cut some contacts out
of a vcard based addressbook and add them to a new vcard addressbook. Almost
same behavior. Some contacts (one time even all of them) disappear.
