Hej,

what do you mean with 'normal' address book? If it is a vCard file or vCard
directory
based address book, I'd recommend you to drop them in favour of the 'Personal
Contacts'
address book. The latter ones is faster then vCard file based and supports the
storing
of contact groups (which neither the vCard file nor vCard directory based
support).
