OK, as a workaround, I created a Disconnected IMAP account that connects to the
same IMAP server. And it works.

However, when the second computer is connected to an IMAP server already having
those groupware folders, KMail keeps trying to create those and, quite
expectedly, presents me with the failure to do so (since they exist already -
duh!)
