Work online/offline works.
Check Mail: checking local folders (as of now) makes sense, this way you can
sync the akonadi db with changes in your local folders, eg. after doing a sync
between two computers or another mail client modifying your local folder
directory. It should be excluded by automatic check though, but this is a
resource configuration issue.
"As of now" because right now the maildir and mixedmaildir resource doesn't
monitor changes in the file system, so the only way to get changes is to sync
the account.
