I do not think this is a good idea, because when you are viewing some mail
received months ago at the end of the working day, and you want to continue
with it the next working day, with this option enabled you will have to search
the mail again.

Normally, is is easier to go to the newest mail than to go to some old mail.

In any case, it is up to the developers to implement it or not.
