In KDE 4.3 when you have set "Jump to last selected message" in configure/misc
and you select a folder in the left tree you did not visit before, no mail is
selected - which is not a problem I'd say.
Or if you have defined "jump to first unread/new" and no such mail is in that
folder, also no mail is selected.

Martin, is that what you mean?
