I use KMail on a daily basis and I can't confirm this bug from my experience
with the program over the last two years at least.

I tried to reproduce that behaviour with KMail from trunk r860760 reusing a
'really' long back and forth sent mail and cannot confirm.

I'd suggest to close the bug since nobody was able to give additional
information or confirmation.
